  • Provide extraordinary customer service to all patients and parents through over-the-phone interactions
  • Develop and nurture relationships with patients on every interaction that results in measurable customer value
  • Direct and communicate patient needs effectively and efficiently
  • Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA privacy and security policies
  • Determine patients’ insurance types and verify those with Medicaid have active coverage
  • Strategize ways to build the schedules by extracting data from unscheduled treatment reports
  • Contact patients and parents to advise of any outstanding unscheduled treatment or upcoming services for which they are eligible to receive and appoint
  • Promptly notify patients who are due for their 6-month cleaning and appoint
  • Collect and document patient demographic and insurance information accurately
  • Document any patient communication in the office journal
  • Clearly communicate pertinent office policies and protocols
  • Demonstrate confidence over the phone to ensure that each call is closed and daily production quotas are met
  • Ensure the schedule remains booked according to company requirements by scheduling and rescheduling appointments
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must be fluent in Spanish
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service based role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality related industry
  • Previous experience in a sales-related role is a plus
  • Previous experience using Dentrix practice management software is preferred
  • Available to work Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as needed
  • Exceptional public speaking skills and phone etiquette to build positive rapport with patients and parents
  • Clear and effective written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, patient-focused environment
  • Ability to adapt to change and be persistent to drive results
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage time, and remain productive
