Job Description
**OFFERING A SIGN-ON BONUS OF UP TO $500 FOR QUALIFIED HYGIENE ASSISTANTS** (Bonus amount awarded is based on completion of a valid dental assisting certification course and/or having at least one year of prior dental/hygiene experience as well as the number of clinical days worked.)
Tebo Dental, an Atlanta-based dental group, is looking for motivated, team- oriented, and dedicated professionals who are eager to provide quality and efficient dental care. We are looking for loyal individuals who have a friendly chair side manner and are open to making a long-term commitment to growth within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Verify patient medical history and inquire about dental concerns
- Take digital x-rays
- Set up and break down patient treatment rooms
- Chart the doctor’s observations, doctor/patient comments, recommended treatment, etc. during clinical exams
- Effectively provide dental education to increase patient awareness of proper oral health and the importance of any recommended treatment
- Understand insurance benefits for patients with Medicaid and/or traditional policies
- Coordinate with other team members to work in treatment as the schedule allows
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an assistant and or completion of a dental assisting course is a plus
- Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
- Exceptional attention-to-detail
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to travel between our office locations is preferred
- Available to work full-time between Monday-Friday

License/Certification:
- X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
